ANNE SAVAGE

One of the first ever female dj/producers and with no signs of stopping Anne Savage has dedicated over 15 inimitable years to djing and the music scene, paving the way and inspiring many rising female stars who grace the decks today.

DJ Magazine Top 100, the world most recognised DJ Poll saw Anne riding high for 7 consecutive years, and was recently ranked number 85 in the Top 100 DJs of all time and voted in the Top 10 UK DJs by “The Independent” in 2008.

Her glamorous style and bubbly personality have also helped her to achieve success as a confident and highly-rated presenter – with her role as a tutor teaching a classically trained cellist how to DJ on the Channel4 program “Faking It” helping the series to receive a prestigious BAFTA Award.

Anne has also presented for the BBC, MTV Europe, MTV Dance, Rapture and Sky One, Anne held her own specialist dance show on Ministry Of Sound Radio for 3 years and was the stand in for Dave Pearce on his massive Radio 1 Sunday night Dance Anthems show with over 2 million listeners.

2013 has sees Anne continue in this blistering form, as her social networking sites figures show, her popularity is indisputable with clubs and festivals across the UK and Ireland requesting Anne Savage to complete their line-up adding to this are her tours of Canada, US, Malaysia. Australia and Japan.

Anne continues to move upwards with her Dumb Blonde project, spinning a cross genre set from house, breaks, base, to anything that rocks a party.

For those unaware of the flipside to Anne’s talents, as well as her numerous tracks & remixes for the likes ofThe Holloways and The Rakes, she has toured the globe, supported Kasabian, Pendulum and Bloc Party, played Snowbombing, Secret Garden Party, The Big Snow Festival, Glastonbury and Judgement Sunday for the past few years – all under this Dumb Blonde moniker.

Anne’s 2013/14 foray into deep house & techno has seen her play alongside acts as diverse as Krysko and Ray Foxx and this year saw her first appearance at the underground Beat-Herder Festival in the UK.

Gorgeous, friendly and a whole lot of fun – you know she’d be on the dancefloor if she wasn’t in the DJ booth – she really is the Clubber’s DJ.
